lowering problems

Default lowering problems

how comes my driveshafts hit the chassis at the front?
i got coilovers and they are well stiff and it wasnt even lowered that much!
how do people get on with low low cars?

not too good mate i had to raise mine back up as i couldnt get over the slightest of bumps without my exhaust scraping the ground

it does look good but 80mm was not practical
its now 40mm with koni adjustables

it shouldnt hit even if it was really low
have you got a bent track control arm putting your hub out of position

mines lower than that on coilovers and it never hits

With out soundin stupid, are you sure its your drive shafts that are hittin?
and not something else that is knockin? or can you actually see there close to the chassis.

i get a strange knocking noise ever since i lowerd mine ive now raised it back to standard height on the same shocks and springs as befor i put the lowering ones on and it still knocks any ideas guys?

yes its the drive shafts coz there are mrks on the drive shafts, the shafts are about 40mm thick i think, quite wide shafts and the touch the chassis, although they dont now as i highered to about -30mm.
it was only about -40 rst height b4.
zetec lumps are a tad hevier but no heavier than a rst lump.
i got light weight 4 brach instead of turbo too!
