was queing for trax this morning and me rad fan decided it didnt want to play ball anymore,

it works if you bridge the wires

could this be down to a knackered switch?

yep will be the fan switch, just get a new one about £5, but before you fit it concet it to the plug and test it in a cup of boiling water, put ignition on and fan should then work, i had to change the new one i brought 3 times till i got one that worked.
