Got my 2 spal slim line fans now so wanna fit them at the weekend but not sure which wires to join to which. I presume the two to the fan are live and earth. Anyone know which colour is which.

Cheers

There are 2 ways to fit the 2 wires obviously. One way will make the fans spin CLOCKWISE and connected the other way will make them spin ANTI-CLOCKWISE.The fans should have DIRECTIONAL arrows on them telling you which way they should spin.Don,t do what i did and connect them the wrong way and wonder why it statred to OVERHEAT.

You won,t BLOW A FUSE.Live connected to WIRE 1 on the fan = ANTICLOCKWISE

Live connected to WIRE 2 on the fan = CLOCKWISE.

The only way you will BLOW A FUSE is if the LIVE touches the body or rad e,c,t. Make sure you use plenty of insulation tape.
