s1 anti roll bar on s2 without using the mk3 box
i have a s1 anti rollbar.. where u can adjust everything.. not everything but the "legs" who goes to the tca´s.
how to fit this to the s2 whitout using the mk3 gearbox. are the mk4 boks fasten to the anti rollbar?
and where do i get the bushes for it.. pic will come

Or cobble up a mount, after all the pissing about would just be easier to change the box.

hmm, they look the same! the mountings point and so on. but when i looked on a mk4 cab.. it looks like it will fit becouse its a litle difrent under there?

It does fit but needs work done to the craddle to clear the rollbar bolt and then you need to mess about with the mount as it becomes lower etc. etc..
If want a decent rollbar setup then you will need to change the gearbox or casing at least.
IMO its the best mod you could do for handling and suspension well worth doing.

The cradle is the thing on yours the the gearbox is currently mounted in, and the casing is the actual box itself!
Would be easier to get a whole gearbox IMO.
And even then you still have to modify your cars cross member as the bolt holes for the roll bar are in different places, and weld tubes in etc.
