my s2 has a -34 actuator on it and im going to remove the dump valve will this make the chatter any different on wastegate.
can some one tell me the difference between the -31 and -34

removing the d/v MAY make it chatter, however on Mechanical fuel injected rst's you raerly hear it as the metering unit muffles the sound, -34 wont make any difference to the sound.
afaik -34/s hold allot higher boost than a -31, dont think you'll ever need a -34 on an RST tbh

It's not the wastegate u hear shatter.
It's compressorwheel chopping air. Since the throttle is closed, air is building up in the intake system(piping/intercooler) turbo is still spinning, but slowing down since no exhaust gasses are propelling the turbine. At some point the build up airpressure won't get higher and wants to flow back via compressor wheel. thats the sound ur hearing.
