Whats the std torque figure of a std ERST?

what it is...my mate has a 2.0 8v Vw mk3 Golf, and he reckons he'd whip my std engined RST.....i know their simmilar bhp wise, dunno what torque i have or what torque he has? may be pretty close, i dunno, it's jus his smug look as he sais it that i want to wipe off his face lol!

 

I own a mk2 1.8 golf gti 16v also. The golf will spank my rs on the start, but there RS will catch up once the turbo starts to spin. It'll be pretty close between my 2 cars.

 

A std ERST have 180Nm i torgue

i would imagine you'll have a bit of a weight advantage over the panzerwagen!

it will be close m8!...my m8 has a mk3 2L 16v golf...ill whoop him in the first 2 gears and gain about 2 car lengths on him...third ill pull a tiny bit more...maybe half a car length then after that it keeps the same distance i cant pull he cant catch

oh and my car is standard bar a goose 3" bore exhaust, induction kit, 8psi boost and a Kent CVH 34...i dont see myself running more than say 140hp

P.S my car has HUGE ice install with 2 batteries, loadsa sound deadening, 15f power cap that weighs LOADS, huge sub and 3 amps lol

 

Well i got a 15bhp advantage, plus i dunno how much more torque if any, AND less weight.......his car is 8.9 - 60 and ERSTS are 7.8/9 i reckon it'll be no prob (can always turn the boost up as mines chipped with a -31 ) lol
