APT/Passionford RR Day - CANCELLED :( TO BE REARRANGED :)

*****************CANCELLED - SORRY!!******************

**********WATCH THIS SPACE FOR RESCHEDULE************

We are holding a Rolling-Road Day at APT, which is in Norfolk (about 10 miles NW of Norwich). The date is Sunday December 10th, 2006.

It looks like Performance Ford *might* come along, of course depending on how many entries there are, so don't bank on that at this stage.

The cost will be £40 per car. For that we would achieve a stable BHP/Torque reading, but we would also provide a fuelling plot and a boost plot, which is something that most Dyno's can't offer. The Dyno Dynamics system is VERY accurate and used by alot of highly regarded tuners over the world. We can achieve repeatable runs within approximately 1 BHP of each other. Please note, our Dyno is 2wd.

I am putting this in here as I like the idea of it being RS Turbo only, however, we would need 20-25 cars really to make it viable. I would like to see some of these big cars on our Dyno, but of course everyone is welcome!! Please note though, that it will only go ahead if we get to 15 pre-paid entries!

Here is a provisional list of those interested......

1. Christian and Beccy (Probably not running now :( )
2. M K - (Paid by Cheque 22-11-06)
3. scortgti - (Paid by Cheque 24-11-06)
4. Marc LJX (Paid by Cheque 25-11-06)
5. ivorbiggun (Paid by Cheque 28-11-06)
6. MM Racing (Paid by Cheque 02-12-06)
7. matt p
8. Ad4m RST
9. JezSierra
10. S2Dan
11. Lincolndanny
12. scraggyrst
13. PF Nick
14. TemptRS
15. bigchez
16. Tina Turbo

Please let me know if you wish to be added/removed from this list.

The way I operate these days is to take full payment in advance, usually by Cheque. That way we can be sure of how many will attend. There is nothing worse than organising a day, telling everyone it will be great, then lots don't turn up!!

So, please send a cheque made payable to Christian Major to this address. Please do this ASAP. I will not bank any cheques until it looks likely that there will be enough, to save the need for refunds.

Sounds a good plan mate when abouts would you be looking at
holding this? :top:

Is it open to anyone with an rs turbo or is it for big power rst's?

Cheers matt

matt p 06-11-2006 01:02 PM

Looks like its just me then

bassboy 06-11-2006 01:24 PM

40 pounds thats the cost of the price to pay at any r/r .when u do a r/r with an mag and lots of other cars u bring the price down to 25 pounds

so i thought you would of droped the price down a bit to get people wanting to come :?

matt p 06-11-2006 02:08 PM

Good point there Alex ;)

Ad4m RST 06-11-2006 02:14 PM

Depending on dates i'd be up for this, lower price would be good but wouldn't mind paying the £40 for a proper dyno.

:DD: :DD:

Get a provisional list going?

I wondered if this might happen regarding cost. I have seen and been to alot of Rolling Road Days and have never had the opportunity of receiving detailed plots of BHP/Torque/AFR/Boost, for around £30.

The Dyno Dynamics Dyno is one of, if not the most expensive Rolling Roads and with good reason.

We are having a Rolling Road Day this weekend for the 200sx guys and they are happy to pay £40 per car for the level of information that we will provide and also the accuracy of the results. If that's not worth £40, then to be honest, I won't bother doing it.

If it does go ahead, I would have like to have a balance of all levels of RST there, from the lower powered cars, right up to the big-boys. As I said above, everyone is welcome, providing your car is safe and suitably maintained.

Let me know if it's still an option at this cost.

JezSierra 06-11-2006 05:23 PM

when this happening, ill be up for it soon as my clutch is sorted, but if its the start of next year wont be able as mine will be off the road

S2Dan 06-11-2006 05:34 PM

Yeah i would interested in this, not long had her set up again so would be good to see if there is any improvements.

When are you thinking about doing this :top:

Christian and Beccy 06-11-2006 05:45 PM

I would be up for doing this in early December, if there is enough interest.

So, let's get the word about.

If there aren't enough RST's to fill a day, I would be interested in splitting the day in half and doing half RST's and half Cossie's.

Would have been nicer to keep it to RST's though. :top:

JezSierra 06-11-2006 05:53 PM

would it matter too much if my clutch kept slipping n mt car looks abit of a shed?is it open to FRST's aswell?maybe able to get my boss with his mint fiesta to come down, his badly needs setting up!

SafeChav 06-11-2006 06:11 PM

I would DEFINATELY.......................if my car was finished
