Scrapyard tears
I often have a look around my local scrapyard looking for bits for my car but have you noticed how hard it is to find the old mk3 mk4 escorts nowadays. It seems that if a scrappy round my erea gets hold one they automatically crush them I recently found an old xr3i and had a couple of bits off it then when i came back to get some more they had already crushed it I realy think it criminal doing that! parts are getting harder and harder to get hold of nowadays and all them pefectly good bits have now gone forever This car had an almost pefect gun metal grey body shell with no visible rust i could see! the reason it was in the scrappy was the engine had overheated and probably killed it. It realy makes me sad that alot of scrappys dont see the worth in keeping them anymore.

Plenty in my local, 2 ghias in there at the moment, an XR3i, RS turbo shell, few estates, cabriolet with good shell, coupe of vans and al the usual Xl's. They seem to scrap the Pop's and Bonus's really quickly though

In the process of buying a place to live so not been about much. Should be on here loads though once we've moved in as I'll have no money left to actually spend on the cars

Not a nice view though but it was helpfull when you could find some "normal" Mk4's at the scrap...... That's history unfortunately.

managed to get the center speaker console grid and 2 plastic kick sills, when i went back to ask if the shell was up for grabs (it was good cond apart from bent front apron, it was chrushed
