boost gauge wires,wheres best to connect em?red black,orange
just got my boost gauge thru this morning and going to put it in this arvo,but just wondering where the best places are to wire in the three wires(red)says on ignition but whereabouts? black? and finally an orange one says lighting but where also?
i know i may sound like a thicko but dont wanna fook it up

The Red is your ignition live. Best place to get an ignition live is from your car stereo. It will be the yellow wire on the power side of your stereo plug. Splice into this.
The black is the earth. Just find a bolt holding something to the shell and attatch it to this.
The lighting is so the gauge knows when you have your lights on to backlight the gauge. You can get this from anything thats illuminated when the lights are on. I'd take it from the lights on the back of the heater control panel. Splice into the feed to the lamps that light that up.
Remember to use proper connectors, and to use electrical tape to cover all your connections. And always wire stuff up with the ignition off and probably the battery disconnected.
