Default Bailey Header Tank

Been trying to get the 16mm samco hose on the header tank to radiater take off,no foookin chance,taken the skin off my knuckes
How has anyone else fit this hose?it is so tight,no way will it fit,should the hose not be the next size up 19mm?

i to had this problem, i was using SFS ancillary hoses,

in the end i left it black

I used a Roose hose made for the job. Spot on with no issues!

have u tryed placing the pipe in hot water first to sofen it up
