Ive just rebuilt the head on my rst 300 miles ago it has a piper fast road cam and was woundering what the ignition timeing should be. It is set at 12 degrees advanced, and im running just over a bar of boost any informatin would be gratefull thanks

 

all depends on ur bottomend!! i.e low compression 1.9 zvh etc.
just take it to a tunner to sort out

 

12 sounds abit to far i think its 8 degrees before tdc at about 900rpm but i not 100% on that. ive finished work for christmas so i cant get 2 my tech data sorry.

 

12 degrees BTDC at idle with vacuum pipe disconnected is the original setup value.
