Has anyone ever known of the fuel flow sensor breaking. I have a 90rst and for some unknown reason the the fuel flow sensor for the computer has been disconnected on the metering head and I was wondering if they are a common fault.

 

The fuel slow sensor is only for the fuel computer, it is not critical to the running of the car

 

ok. I was wondering why its been disconnected.. if they fail can they cause running problems. They reason I ask is I would like to get it working.

 

Nah as i said they don't have anything to do with the running of the car at all, its only there for a fuel computer. The fuel computer compares the rate of fuel flow to the speedo output to calculate MPG figures

 

Ok thanks mate I'll try and connect it back up and get it working to see what mpg I get.
