Default warm car/ low fuel pressure..S1

my S1 is still playing up.

as soon as the temperature goes up the fuel pressure drops and the car stalls.

just collected from the garage but they had a look at the some sensors but want the car back next week to look again.

i changed the fuel pump hoping this was the reason of the low fuel pressure when the cars warmed up.

any ideas??????

should i change the fuel pressure regulator????

been like this for 2 months, takes weeks to book in the garage.

would it be worth booking into ford??

this car is trying your patience mate

your on here nearly everyday with a new fault

what kind of garage are you takin it to for them to say bring it back next week

is there a not a good garage with knowledge of these cars near you, if you take it to ford they will price you mega bucks, can you not travel to a garage with a back round of these cars to get it sorted once and for all

and to be honest thats what these cars are like in a garage more than the road, but stick with mate there worth every penny and the wait

well........

1st.the garage said it was an air leak.....so i changed:

manifold gasket
inlet gasket
rocker gasket
samco hoses.

had someone spray carb spray around the gaskets.all ok.

car carried on driving but after warming would die as i slowed on junctions.

2nd...got a krypton tuner out.

he said....the computer shows as your cars warms up the fuel pressure drops...then you cut out, probally the fuel pump.

so i changed the fuel pump (cheers to NEWTON 4the pump)

but its still doing it, warming up then cutting out.
i cant drive anywhere at the moment.

there is 1 garage which has a S1 outside and the bloke has trophies for his RS cars he's had in the past.............BUT

He set fire to my S2 one whole inside wing, samco hose, fuel filter and k&n filter gone

so he's my last resort......the other garage were always fixing the S2.
but now it seems they like new cars with computers telling them whats up!!!!!!!

Try unlugging the electro magnetic pressure actuator and seeing if it will run when warm then?
