Default sensor plug???? sender????

have just done a major overhaul on my car but now have noticed that one little wire which connects to the cylinder head is broken (cut). its a thin wire with the same connector as the oil pressure switch, i think its for the water temperature. anyway the actual connector has broken off and i dont have it does anyone know what i should do as i went to ford and they said they dont sell it.

any advice would be much apprerciated

Go to the scrappy and chop one off another car or some people just use a female bullet connector.

i take it the wire colour is brown with a white stripe?

if so this is the water temp sender wire!

mines gone in the same way !

get a new sender screwed into the head!

th thread on the sender unit is 4mm i got 2 brass nuts that screw onto it!
then all u do is put a crimped connector on the wire thats like a round washer then put it on the sender unit and lock into position with the brass nuts !

job done!
