Default RST S1 MC-Rallying Bodykit quality question.

Hello,

I'm doing a full resto on a escort mk3 cabriolet, and i'm building her up with a RS Turbo engine and running gear with RS1600i front suspension setup.

I want to use a series one bodykit, but I can't find any original here in The Netherlands. I see them occaisonally on Ebay.co.uk, but mostley they are UK only postage.
So therefor I want to buy a new Mc-Rallying replica kit. Does anyone have any experience with the quality of such fiberglass kits?
Are they good replica's which bolt strait on, or do they require lots of work? And, most important, do they crack fast?

Thanks,

Sven

My car: (in dutch unfortunately)

I'd go with genuine kit as well mate

considered the fibre glass one when I put the arches on my S2 but I don't think they would be as flexible as the gen kit

Fibreglass kits are notoriously a bad fit when you come to do it. Ask one of the traders mate..sure they'd be happy to help you out Genuine kit is more impact resistant and less prone to damage.

Thank you all!

I'll try to get hold of a genuine kit. Those traders you speak of, are they a kind of Parts Shops?

Cheers,

Sven
