Default Indicators

Got some clears for the front of my series 2 but can't suss how to get the old ones off

Any ideas ??

you have to take the headlight out first to get to the bolt that holds the indicator in!

looks far better than amber i think,gives it a more modern look

Ahhh, take the headlight out to get to that ball joint type bolt on the corner of the wing ? A bit gay ain't it , why couldn't it be like a mk2 fez just pull the spring and job done.

Big AL

Headamp comes off in two mins.

THen undue the ball nut thing, and then slide the indicator off it's clip at the back. Careful here, u can easily break the indicator.

Must be doing something wrong been outside for an hour and given up for now

You sussed it??
If not, it turns from the back 90 degree anti-clock and pulls back into the bay to release the clip.
