7.2k rev limiter......
Wanna raise the rev limiter to 7.2k and was wonderin what's actually involved to do this/costs???? I'm on solid lifters and it pulls really hard to the limiter meaning it keeps hittin the limiter in the lower gears especially! Cheers

It will remove the rev limit totally. I use an OMEX limiter which is adjustable, and gives u either a hard or soft limiter. It makes the car much quicker to launch, as u can bounce off the limiter without the car bogging down.
if you simply swap the sw for an s2 item, u will have no full throttle enrichment, or fuel cut on closed throttle.
Instead of the TPS earth wire going to earth, it needs to go to a terminal on the S1 ECU - essentially it's -ve switching. I worked this out years ago - never understood why more people didn't do it. Can't remember the pin no from memory.

The overun fuel cut IS built into every ECU - but have u considered how the ECU knows u are on overun?

Ive just had a look over the wiring diagram and i see the wiring variation, pin 6. Series 2's dont have the connection on pin 6 instead its in with a common ground.

THe problem is that u there is no pin in the S2 multiplug. Call me a butcher, but i soldered a wire directly to the ecu pin. It's done 2 years and 40k with no probs

There are capacitors you can change inside a S2 fuelling ECU although capacitors have massive tolerances, and its not something i would advise doing as a DIY job just incase.....

not sure about cosworth management.....
Seen a nice big arguement on here before about people criticising how old the system was.....
What sort of price is it for the cossie stuff then?

Indeed Cossie management is stone age now, and aftermarket managements are getting a lot cheaper. Cossie stuff was the stuff to have when it was a lot cheaper.
