idle jumps to 2k when you pump brakes?

It will do it if you pump the brakes Andy. You're exhausting all the vacuum in the servo thus allowing more air into the engine. As long as it doesn't rev up to 2k when you press the pedal once (like that silver servo) then there is nothing to worry about.
