How to get Inlet manifold looking like new ??
Been thinking about how best to clean up the inlet manifold etc on my Series 1 while the engine is out.....but not sure.
Has anyone done this before ?
I had considered sand blasting the outside of it, but dont know if there are any good / bad points about doing this ?
Also if i wire wheel it....it will come up different to how it left the factory...
Powder coating it is an option, but that will take away some of the casting marks ?
Any suggestions / tried and tested methods welcome folks !
