I'd go for some steel rods and low comp pistons.

A low comp bottom end doesn't have to be a steel one mate, that's just where the rods used are steel. Steel rods and forged pistons would give u a solid bottom end tho, to enable u to run more boost safely, as u wouldn't wanna run much more than 20p.s.i on standard rods. Not a cheap option tho, rods will set u back around the Ł700 mark, pistons Ł500. Couple this with ARP bolts, machining, new bearings etc and u won't have much change from 2k for the bottom end!

all steel bottom end is steel rods and crank

i would go for a good ported head and possibly a cam can give upto 50 bhp to as you cant really use more boost with your standard turbo

Agreed - head work, cam, hybrid. No point doing the bottom end at the moment if you're not utilising this lot. Besides, if the bottom end is good why mess about with it ? Might as well wait until / if it goes bang and deal with it then.

i personally would leave it as it is power wise, reliability should be ok at that level.

i would either spend the money on the brakes if not already uprated, or a good suspension upgrade and polybushes.

alll very well haveing a quick car its how it handels and stops that is just as important.
