Just got a quote on a standard Series 1 (well Magnex Exhaust) today, Fully Comprehensive, Nil NCB (as its on another car), Garaged and i'm 22, £750 for the year with a 10k mileage limit!

 

Incorrect, there Grp 15, XR3i is only Group 13, whoever told you that don't know shit, if an RST is Grp 20, what would that make Cossie's and beyond?

Get a new quote elsewhere I would! lol

hello shawn, i need to get it revalued in the summer as i think the valuation is a bit on the low side.the excess is high but the insurance is there if i need it regarding track days.

my other s1 is taking priority at the mo so work has stopped on the datapost for the time being,fingers crossed it will be done this year

You might find if you ask your insurance company what group they class an RST as you will find 95% of companies have re-classified them as group 20!!
