and remember its better to mod the engine first then get it chipped because then the chip can be programed to the engine spec

 

Does the turbosystems chip remap the ignition????? Cos as far as i know ahmed's the only one to remap the ignition in his chips, all the others just remove the boost limiter! The ahmed chip allows u to run lots of boost without havin to retard the ignition too much to stop it detting, makin it much snappier to drive off boost.

 

yes they do mate tony from turbosystems as been doing the ignition map for years on rs turbos superchips used to be like that tho just removing the boost limit

i know ahmed chips are good i used to have a stage 3 one on mine

 

i use collins on ine at the min, and tehy seem to do the job

 

does the price vary on these chips as im in the same position looking for a chip, heard the ahmed bayjo ones are exspensive

 

cheers for that help there i know the ahmed chips go for about Ł300+vat with a new 31 actuator at falkland performance centre, does anybody have any views on falkland cheers

 

no mate dont get a off the shelf chip it will be shite mapped for a standard car if you want one from ahmed bajoo phone him tell him the spec of your car and he will program the chip to the spec of your engine

hi bud do you know the phone number for him to get in touch ? my engine has been bored to 1750 with mhale pistons lightened and balanced crank, con rods and the fly wheel, pro alloy intercooler, ive got that piper 285t2 cam and was going to put the chip in aswell, what sort of power do you think it would make, cheers for your help

I bought a Motorsports Development chip and -31 for Ł200 delivered next day. Just got to take it to AVA and get it fitted

 

bayjoo all the way imo - only about 200 quid i think, i cant remember how much mine was

he chipped my brothers s2 with piper 285t2 ported head mongoose zorst grs evo 3 intercooler made 242 at 18 psi
