Thats the ignition timing. I haven't seen any numbers on what crank degree no1 inlet valve should be fully open.

Hi Rick, got an old CVH tuning book in front of me it looks like 23/67 67/23, inlet No1 full lift at 112 degree's, duration = 270 degrees. P.S. mine still doesn't want to start....dear ebay Piper 285 t2 etc etc John

Is that an RS turbo figure? It's actually same as xr3i. Have u tried adjusting the timing? You really do need a vernier, it could be 10 degrees out.

I'm fairly sure it's right Rick. As for vernier I'm gonna chuck a standard one
in it tomorrow to see if that isolates the problem. I might then get on ebay
and try and get an adjustable. Cheers for your help
