Default changin the front diff....

as above really.. i have bought a new front diff for my car and would like to fit it my sef.. was just wondering how hard it would be? is it just a case of dropping the front shafts and the front prop off then changing the diff or is it a bit more complex than that ?

Cheers for your help in advance
Matt

remove prop & shaft's , take off end cover with the speedo worm drive in it, remove big sirclip & take out cross shaft that goes through the sump, then only a few bolts hold diff to engine, you will have to rock the casing to get it out, then it will drop down past cross member, it's a close fit, so watch your finger's

Had to drop the cross member out of my car to get the front diff out.
