How reliable has your car been, how many miles you done in it and how much have you spent keeping it on the road (general maintenance, not tuning/modifying)????

Ive heard a few saying they cost a fair bit to keep?

but they are worth it i sold mine a few months back and totally
regret it so i'm looking for another.

you will probably get pissed off with it sometimes but your always smiling again when you go out for a drive in it

had it just over 3 years

done just over 15k miles IIRC???

has cost me circa £15k.....

BUT had I not blown the engine... you can easily knock 8-9k off that...

I am VV particular with the car, I am not rich nor do I "throw" money at the car, I do spend exactly what is needed though.. I dont cut corners.. I have to buy the right item, right.. first time, so genenrally that means a little dearer....

 

My car has been totally unreliable, well, when i first got it, now it is totally reliable and as Damo has said, if i hadnt spent what i have on the getting the car to how i want it, (17k) i would have been much better off, i also have only purchased the right bits for the car, know cutting corners here either.

But, at the end of the day, the cars are quite old now and a fair few have probably been abused somewhere down the line, so as long as you dont think you will never have problems with something or another, you'll be fine.

Oh and i've done 3000 miles in it since i've had it
