hello,
i found a ford escort rs cosworth damaged and i would like to know which shell can i use from another escort i don't know 1.6 , 1.4 CL , GLX???? which??? so i can transfer all the parts and build an escort from 0.
waiting your answer and links if possible or a site with someone who has done it yet.

Like I said in the other thread m8 --> only genuine Escort Cosworth shell will do.
Normal Escort is totally different.

 

does not really mater what escort shell you use as very little of esc cos shell is the same as base model no tunnel for a start. no shell with out major mods would fit ,i am sure if your very handy with a welder it is possible it has definatley been done in mark 3and 4 , and if you go for it good luck and would love look to seeing the results andy

 

If you really have too you better go for Sierra shell.

 

As I said, lets see a few pictures It may be easier to repair the shell rather than start modifying a 1.3 Popular. Also if you can repair the shell it will always be a proper Cosworth on the log book as opposed to a 2.0 Turbo 4x4 popular
