Should be 2 allen type bolts on the left hand side of the box, top ones the refill & the bottoms the drainage.

The back part is the transfer box, couldn't find the refill plug on this but i'm working on it!!

You have to change both, but they both use different types / grades of oil!!
Check with someone like Bernie @ CTS!

Cheers fella, funny enough the only 2 esc cos's i looked at were Black! (ash & Gloss)

Well this is my first escort & probably be my last, bloody wallet hoover!! Already started thinking of selling it, can justify having a cossie as a second car.......Unlike most

If memory serves me mate, Ford still stock gearboxes & are fair priced i reckon..............£500ish. Reckon thats the best bet!

yeah 420 new from ford but i was also told last night that a siera twin cam gearbox fits straight on and i could pick it up for 40 quid so i might give that a try until i can get the money together for a new one.........just bought a set of compomotive wheels and tyres in white so im completely broke!!...........i sold my other car and bought a motorbike so i could save money and spend more time with the cossie but that plan hasnt really worked!

Never heard that one before.........Does it also use the MT75 box

If your not going to run more than a stg3, i'd bite the bullet & get the ford one!
