The plates i got off cossymad mate i think the front is 17" long and 2.5" wide dont know the font as i just asked him that i wanted the same as the cossy on the front of dec 2004 fast ford.

Glen yeah the front bumper is a bit loose that side but it cant be making the splitter do that????? I will have to make up something.

When you pull onto the drive, do you always pull on from one direction and always drive in or reverse in etc, cos it looks like its caught the ground a few times and pushing it against the floor in one place regularly would £cuk it... this is exactly why I didnt buy a new one for mine, as the car scrapes everytime I drive in or out the drive

i bought a brand new upper from ford and it has deformed in exactly the same place as the old one had even though all the holes are bolted and i have put large mudflap type washer on to spread the pinching load points where they tighten up, the other idea i had was to fill the back of it with expanding filler foam, becasue if i lie down and push the deformed parts out from the back they look fine, if the fillerfoam was along the back would that help keep it pushed out...

Yeah i know its not the splitter must be my bumper. Tried wedging something under it for a few days it made a difference then but has gone back to how it was i might try that expanding foam??

huuuuuuuuumm. that foam idea is good as it will allow it to flex a bit but keep it in shape . i put a strengthening plate (between the splitter and deflector ) all the way along it and worked well, untill i hit a speed bump and the plate ripped through the stone defecltor . not bothered replacing it as it sits too low on knoi's and standard wheels and catches on everything.......
