hi new to here I’ve got 1992 cosworth it starts straight away but cuts out after few seconds it will do this 10 times plus before it will keep running , any ideas ?

I would imagine that it might be the cold idle valve on the throttle body (iscv) there is a thread on here on how to test and re-set it.

i see you are in West Sussex. It might be worth getting the car over to Mark Shead for a general once over. I have a spare control valve if you need to come over and try it.

Yes Chichester , it’s stage 3 tuned goes well but sounds normal it’s got mongoose stainless exhaust , I’ve seen a few up hot hatch breakfast club this year sound well nice pops bang etc have emailed few remap guys but not come back with any prices etc to tune it that way , you cosworth specialist ?
