Hi I recently sold an Escort Cosworth Engine to Harvey Gibbs

as far as I was aware All was fine

he now says the crank is scrap due to the thrust bearings being fitted wrongly the wrong way round

the engine had done around 10000 miles

i feel if that was the case it would have failed prior to now

any thoughts

 

It's been sold so no longer your problem. They decided to buy it and handed over cash. The deal is done, end of.

 

What was the engine spec?
