Default ARP stud and nut kit

i'm gonna put my new engine back together but i've got a head that's too much skimmed already and because of that i need to use a multilayered headgasket (have to figure out compression ratio for thickness)
i want to use this with an arp stud and nut kit on my 200 block now have i heard from some people don't do this because block will crack and other people say that nothing's wrong with a stud and nut kit
what is th best to do use 1 or use standard bolts with a multilayered headgasket?
