400 BHP, full boost by 4500-4700 RPM
I would like to get some tuning information from you. I've got garret T4, cam wheels and shafts BD 15, grey injectors, 3bar map sensor, "3 exhaust, big intercooler, aquamist, stand alone ECU. I've got big lag and max boost by 4500-4700 RPM Below 4000 RPM it is very weak. What should I do?
My car is build to achieve over 400 BHP
Peter
ps
happy new year

If its got P8 management then go get yourself some anti lag fitted also try getting the cams adjusted or possibly change them + what chip are u running cos i got an escort which is ment to be around 500 horses with anti lag steve at a1 rallysport knows his stuff go see him....

Long duration cams (tho big lift isnt a prob) and huge ports fuck spoolup loads and not really needed with a big turbo to be honest so they probably wont help.
He says he got standalone managment so i think hes already had the car live mapped, you couldnt chip that
If you only want 400 or so then a .63 housing T34 would be ok and FAR less laggy.
If you want closer to 500 then the T4 or a GT30 is your better bet, but the grey injectors will run out of flow at about 450.
BTW everyone saying "go visit" whoever, look where this guys from POLAND, bit of a road trip dont ya think?

Had the same problem using a T4, so I did a deal with Vince at Universal Turbo's and got their version of a T38. Unfortunately can't give any results yet, as engine is being fully rebuilt. But I was dissapointed with the T4 and the amount of lag it gave.
I'd go for a different turbo and get rid of the T4 unless your looking for a 500bhp engine with little power below 4,500rpm.
Just my opinion.
