Hi craig.
If you buy an uprated presure plate and use the other std stuff it will take about 400bhp @ max.
Tried and tested this in my old engine with 390 bhp 502nm with a great result

Mine didn't get that bad - but I got it too hot that I could drive it any more.

AP 6 paddle with heavy duty plate has since sorted this problem, and safely handles 450 horse

I'm aiming for 350bhp & planned to go for an AP Organic. Good to hear it will handle that & more.

Like ALL clutches, they are rated in torque output . And the organic (like the paddle) is actually rated at 330lb ft. However, they are very conservative, as their 6 plate paddle holds 450lb ft (providing you don't launch it everywhere ).

I have the AP organic full clutch and with just me in the car it is fine but if I'm three up when I bang it in third, it slips often.

Dave.

PS I'm on greys with 34 psi peak on a T34

Does anything need to be done to the fly wheel, I've been told they can need refacing (removal of any imperfections etc).
Cheers.

Yes Mate,

I think it should hold up to 400bhp. I know that SACHS Performance has got a very powerful organic clutch kit.
