The centre hole should have a black cover, the washer pipe should go through the other hole near the n/s hinge (normally in a flexi sleve)

as i think that the centre locking plus the boot release maybe the loom is a add on which go back to fuse box is there no plug on the loom near the headline

nope nothing at all in the headlining

i have 2 connectors that split off from the loom down the drivers sill, there is enough length to go either to the fusebox or the drivers rear arch, and they are the same colours as the boot release and the boot switch thats on the latch

so i think im going to have to make a loom up for these and run them up into the tailgate somehow

ford may stil sell it or a rs breaker as i would say that it one loom that add on as it got to the rear heater in window plus boot relase and centre locking and looking at picture above it looks like the loom comes from the passage side it maybe in car

well, i have the 3 brass contacts at the bottom of the boot, now as far as i know, these control the wiper, heated screen and the boot light switch

so im missing 2 wires, boot release and the sensor for the light switch

and alls i have is these 2 connectors that are the same colour codes, but dont go near the boot

quite possibly there is a sub loom, and ive asked every person who is breaking a escort for t but they wont split it,

its no bother for me to make a litttle loom up, i just need to know where to put it correctly

thanks, ive saved them links as they may come in handy 1 day, carnt seem to find anything though, bar the oe in the language i carnt read lol so unsure if its there or not

ive managed to sort the screen pipe out and that has left me with 1 hole left now, so im going to make my own loom up and run it into the tailgate, what ive found is the previous owner has ran a wire inside the tailgate to this hole, so obviously there was something going through there, so tomorrow ill have it all wired up as it should be, roof lining is ready to be dropped out now aswell to make my life a bit easier

yeah, it would be a paint to get back up there, but ive done looms before im sure i can sort this, it would be cheaper for me to make a new loom than what it would be to get one from ford i rekon, plus its only 3 wires, i just need the rubber sleeve as my last one i have the clips are broke

i went to the scrap yards and raided a mk 6 one but the colouring was different so dont have a clue what goes where on it , if i can find a mk 5 xr3i or rs2000 ill just grab the whole lot from the tailgate but there very hard to find

the escort wiring is a night mare!! a real shit loom, i recently gutted my whole escos to sort the wiring out there are spare connectors here and there, if your unsure just wire it in fresh using the diagrams. there isnt any connectors in the drivers side wing.. the white connector does nothing.
