guess you saw the ebay add haha

well ive been looking for a good replica for over 8months! (yes just as long as most would look for a real thing!)

Being only 18 this is all i can insure atm but its not a cheap copy. it has been featured in fast ford as its such a good replica. Fooled quite a few cossi owners so its the best i can do, still a dedication to my cossi adiction I just love em as most of us on here so this will do till i can get the real deal!

All genuine parts apart from wings and bumpers. Im buying genuine bumpers and poss rear wings.

Full cosworth interior i mean everything

Powerd by a rs 1800 zetec tuned to 150bhp but im aiming for a turbo conversion or focus rs engine. Ive herd afew stories of peeps using zetec engines in cosworths due to there tunability so its not all bad.

Im hoping to match the cosworths performance basicly.

Adding rear discs, high spec 4 pots all round.

new performance wishbones, better shocks, any sugestions?

Im just going to make it mint and treat it like the real thing. better than any chavvy corsa most kids have my ages, this is the best fast ford i could get as im into the hole seen (not into modern cars)

so for a rep its not all bad. like i say the best i can do right now.

the guy who had it for me left it standing for a year so its got alot of work to do! found a whole family of snails/spiders etc!! but i like rebuilding cars lol so its a project.

Hopefully gonna join rsoc and get more involved in the scene

weve got a moaner

a cossi is group 20 no mate what i do to this it wont be group 20. yes everything will be declared performance wise but no point claiming the interior etc as it will just be my loss if it gets nicked.

everything major will be declared, the engine already is. there are specialist companys who insure modified cars so its alot easier to do it this way.

anything else

You must declare all mods mate even if you think that it will just be your loss, most modified insurance companies will look to get out of claims if you haven't declared all stating that the interior made the car look like a cossie so it was more likely to get nicked

Looks nice though, I started on the Cosworth ladder with a replica 500 that I built many years ago and it is a good place to start if you can't afford the insurance which can be a killer, keep saving and before you know it you will have the real thing

i normally hate reps as they never ever look good, but in defense that one looks like its had time spent
as said declare EVERYTHING bud,or they will get out of paying this way.

ignore the the above moaner.if you are happy thats what counts!

from the pictures it doesnt look to bad! and as has been said aslong as your happy with it that is what counts!
although abit unfair to speak about kids with chav corsa's, as in reality that is what they want, and they would maybe think yours is just a chav'ed up escort?

new shocks, new brakes, new rear beam to take discs new tyres.

Going to make her mint and hopefully get her back into the magazine but we will see what happens
