If you change the front brakes do you have to bleed them from the rear aswell?

TOP TIP: if ya only workin on the fronts , as soon as ya've released pressure from the front brakes by cracking open one of the flexi's or one of the bleed nipples , get inside the vehicle (make sure ignition is off) and wedge the brake pedal down... this will stop the fluid running out whilst you have the system open by pushing the piston in the master cylinder PAST the fluid opening , preventing fluid loss.

once you have completed the work on the front brakes you will only need to bleed the fronts as no air will have entered the rears.... this is helpfull as the rears on an escos need to be bled in a completely different manner to the fronts.

front brakes ojn escos's can be bled in the normal manner with someone pumping the pedal inside the car and you using a bleed bottle and tube on the nipples... the rears however rely on the pedal being held down rather than pumped and the ignition being worked so that the electric servo can push fluid through.... if ya dont know what ya doing with the rears , best leave em to someone who does.

hope this is of some use to ya , dug.

Whats the best order to do the bleeding? fronts then rears or rears then front? Is there a side to side order aswell like the RST's?

it's usually best to start with the furthest away from the master cylinder , then work ya way to the closest....
