tbh, you done need a wiring diagram to remove it....
just trace the wires back from the unit.
there will be 3 that are connected into the car loom, perm live, switced live and earth. and 2 or 3 pairs (depending on model - sillouhette or managusta) that go inbetween the imobilsed circuits.
by rights a god instaler should have removed enough cable form teh original car loom not to be able to simply re join them together ( look for matching colours at each end
)
you should be able sus out which is the fuel pump feed say and the power to the ecu...
its not a 2 min job, but again by no means a big job. always a lot easier removing than fitting as you have to sus out which wires to cut into

you cant actually swap the brain of it, as its all epoxy resin sealed wherer all the black wires go into it, its back and about 6 " long and about 1.5" diameter cylindrical in shape.
