I have smaller ones for mine as well 180mm by 100mm (motorbike size). I have two bits of velcro under my larger plates and when at shows i take off the green road legal ones and put on the show ones. i havent tried to drive around with them on as yet, i think the rozzers may have somthing to say about that. I took o pic of the car on the drive the other day, and when the flash went off you could not see the letters ( may save me a couple of dollars in speed cameras fines as well) as a bonus. will put a pic up when i can find it.

I put it on New Reg years ago and forgot all about it. Last summer they called to say they had a buyer. I panicked so whacked the price up but they didn't fold.
Ended up selling L666COS for £2750 and bought L666RSC for £250. The 2.5k profit went towards some nice new suspension, seats and goodies and towards my house deposit. Thus ensuring I won't have to fall at the house buying hurdle like so many good people before me.
Well worth it I reckon. As so many people told me at the time, a fancy plate doesn't maek him go any faster

Some great plates people have.....wish we all lived in oz, no snow and any plate you want!!!!
MADRST: i am one of the biggest buftys ever but even i draw the line at worrying about a bit of velcro!!
COLA: good lad! nice plate, as quoted previously was well impressed at the number of RSC plates for £250 on DVLA!!!!
RED DEVIL: i live 2 minutes from the MOT station so will swap straight over

Hi Martin, Have you got your plate all sorted out yet mate? Martin was it fairly straight forward in the end mate? just bought mine today, ended up getting one of the one's i was talking about before to you, got the M66 RSC one. cant wait to get it on the car (NICE AND SMALL) Ha Ha. not to small just the lettering a little bit smaller and plate length chopped down with only having 2 numbers in it. I thought you just take all your docs down to the office and they do it all there and then? They stamp your tax disc and mot and send your log book and it comes back with the new reg? I bought a car with a private plate on and the lad changed the plate over the next day and i picked the car up the next day with the the old reg back on, amended tax disc and mot with the log book in the post.

You either take it to them via a local office or send it away. You send off your V5, MOT and Receipt, and they all get returned to you along with a new tax disc. They might ask for you to post the old tax disc to them at a later date. It say's up to 8 weeks but i got all my stuff back within a week

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
here is my car at last years telstra rally australia with a few freinds in the RS owners club here in perth WA.
The focus RS belongs to a freind he has not long emigrated here and he brought it with him. as far as i am aware it is the only one in australia.
the plates are so small they wont even fit on the original screw holes in the tailgate so they have to be velcro,d on. The focus has the standard size and type of plate, i think he may be getting a private one soon? The sierra cosworth is another member he bought it from the UK a while ago and had it imported it has been mentioned on here.
He has RS COS on his.
