&, where did you get that front number plate from Woody? Not the number (although that's nice too) but the plate itself? & what size is it?

 

Id have to disagree with that mate. Although they do look good and different without one, but the upper spoiler is part of the escort cosworth and a must in my opinion.

Woody800, Excellent video's mate. Although if i were you, id delete them all when it comes to putting the car up for sale!!

sorry about the sound dont no why it wont go on
and most people who buy cosworth find out a bit back ground and its been 2wd now long enough now i all ways put on some sort of show where ever i go so anyone buying it would already know what sort of life its had
and i really dont know what to do about the top spiler stay or go

 

Id keep it as its part of the car in my opinion, and thats the bit that gets it noticed and recognised as an escos. Fair play for enjoying your car mate. Must be lots of fun a rwd escos.

 

Not having the upper spoiler saves petrol but if that was important to me I wouldn't be driving an Escort Cosworth. What I find annoying about the the things is that every idiot can stick 1 on the back of their cars. There's a bloke around here with 1 on the back of his 1.6 GL Escort Mk 4 for example & another guy has 1 on the back of his Astra locally too. Yes the things are a very obvious statement about the car but do you really need attention from people who customise their Astras? The WRC spoiler looks nice on the white car (above) though & it's very existence indicates that there are better spoilers for the rear of Escorts than the tea-tray design. I've also seen 1 with a Gurney flap style of thing on the top of the existing lower rear spoiler which gives a 3 cm lip to it which looks nice & neat too.

 

white for me but to be honest i think they all look fantastic when buffed up

spoiler HAS to be on it defines the car IMHO

 

Just look how popular Mallard is! it must be the best Esc Cos colour ever

 

Not popular, it was the only colour people could get hold of at the time I heard it was cheaper too
