Wondering if I could get comments on the following tyres and their suitability on standard rims on my Escort. Which are good value and which aren't etc. As Goodyear F1's are no longer sold in OZ.
Hankook VENTUS K102 or R-s2 Z212.
Yokohama ES 100.
Toyo PROXES T1R or Trampio GU : WN [TPG].
Falken FK452.
Any other suggestions also welcome.

 

Ventus tyres are shite! and I don't think Falken tyres are any better, so it'd be out of the Yoko's or the Proxes for me.

I have proxes on the back of mine, was quite impressed with them tbh, I want aother pair to match now....

 

Had Toyos Proxes on my VR6 Corrado & was very impressed.

 

Thanks for the input. It seems that the tyres that cost the most are the ones that are prefered. Falkens & Hankooks are about $195 AU and the Yokies & Toyos are around $260-$285 AU.

 

i've had a few sets of falkens on other cars & always thought they were alright
