Default Throttle body

Looking at a cossie tb the other day and just wondered this..

If i was to mod the main shaft so the butterfly was only held by one bar one side as to the butterfly being held both sides would this hold ok when the throttle is shut after high boost?

i cant see the advantage of the shaft being modified in that way!?

what benefits are you after, as it may be easier to just buy a larger thottle body if you feel the one you intend to use is to restrictive!
