Good question, most were probably made into lower group cars then lower and lower until they were too knackered to rally?

All I know is the car came from Berlin end of 2005, the guy there bought it a few years back. I will try to find out.

I think the cars first event was in San Remo 1993 or 4.

Mine aint a works car although the spec is actually better than a works car....

I think you may be getting a little confused with Brian Lyall and Raymond Munro...ive been on loads of events where he flew in to drive the Metro...I dont recall Mr Lyall in a heli...but i am getting old....

L 730 ONO was the 1994 monte winner for delacour
i remember seeing it a a rsoc show and touching it,thinking
that this was FOMOCO history,it didn't have a motor in it at the
time as it was at MOUNTUNE for a rebuild
the car had a few dings and scrapes on it but you expect
that and much worse when you go rallying

I forgot to ask what it says in the log book regards reg number. If you look in the Book titled 'Boreham' by Graham Robson, I 'believe ' there are some photos of the actual car.

The motor was rebuilt 6 months ago with a lot of new parts, the T Field plate is still on the top. It pulls like a train, something to do with the 570Nm of torque.

The photo was taken after it was stripped, cleaned, some of the dings taken out new sills, new wing. Then repainted inside and out.

It still competes in local rallies here in Germany.

Well I haven't heard of him for a long time too I guess his having good time since he's retired. I'm not deeply involved in the rally world so I'm not aware and not the best to give you news about him sorry.

He actually made an entrance to the Swiss rallly RIV (which will be a round of the IRC this year). He was driving a Clio Super1600 but I don't remember where he finished. Here is a picture of him in the event taken by me :
