Front splitter adjustment?**UPDATE-Now fooked**
I didn't actually realize until national day, that the front lower splitter is adjustable on the escos . My car is lowerd -25mm I think, as its on konis and STD wheels, and my splitter is set so its basically right in. It's enough of a pain in the arse worrying about it as it is, as It's a nightmare to park/ drive over speed bumps etc as i'mconstantly worried about ripping the fooking thing off - BUT, does anyone run their splitter extended on the road, and does it actually make a percivable difference to the cars handling/ feel etc? or is it best just to keep it tucked away so the frigging thing dosn't get ripped off every time you drive near a cat's-eye? Oh, and how hard are they to adjust? I would go and have a look but its been raining solidly for the last 3 days

It shouldnt be hard to adjust, if its still fitted with the original screws that is...
The furhter forward it is the more effect it is supposed to have.
Personally I havent had much chance to try this, mine only lasted about a week after a incident involving a badger

my car didnt have one when i bought it and the steering felt really light over 100mph at 130 it felt dangerous. then i got one and fitted it so it is fully extended and it made a massive difference at high speeds the car feels a lot more planted never tried it on any other settings though.

my splitter is fully out, its lowerd -30mm on 17`s and have loads of bumps round my way . it dont cause a problem as long as i go slow
and looks mean on the right car.
its easy to adjust, although if the bolts are old ( 10 mm nuts and bolts )
i would fit new ones in stainless steel.
( check out how it looks, the car was on the cover of april 2006 fast ford )

I just recently got my splitter from carbonfibre.com great place down south and they also deliver with a charge of £10 ish, this is the second one i've had as the 1st got "split" in half by the lad who was doing a spray job on some stone chippings on bonnet, so it was all at his expense, issed me off though! but what can you do.
