Default fitting dump valve to T25 cosworth

I've just fitted a twin piston bailey dump valve to my small turbo escos and for some reason it makes it run like a bag of shit i.e over fueling and misfiring any ideas?

Can we assume the Bailey dump valve vents to air? If so then this is the problem as it's venting air measured by the MAF to atmosphere and the ecu thinks the engine is getting more air than it actually is. You need to use a recirculating dump valve on MAF equipped engines.

Well, mine doesn't run like bag of shit with open (i.e. non-recirculationg) DV.

What did you do with standard valve after fitting Bailey one?

I don't know then. I only had problems after fitting DV once and it was somethingd completly unrelated -> VSS failure.

Are sure you got the Bailey DV26 dump valve and not the DV24? The small turbo esc cos uses the DV26 and all other cossies use the DV24.
