Went to fords for a new lambda sensor and was given the code 1669758

anyone know if that is correct as ive read on here that the st/bt sensors are different but ford only had the 1 code

The marking on mine is YB1380 and it's made by NTK in Japan if that helps.

 

no ford are wrong there are two and if you give them your reg you should be able to get the correct one!!!!! i did this 2 weeks ago!

 

I went to ford for a new small turbo one yesterday,ST/BT are different
ST was actually £60 cheaper!!But none in the country at the mo and are on back order will take 1-4 weeks---try woodford he has other sources!!
but the code you were given is right

Just been onto woodford garage--he sells NTK lambda sensors--is insistant that S/T and B/T are the same.NTK website as above also indicates this.Also are £99 rather than £143 from Ford.

 

thread sizes are totally different mate

 

6-7 th month in 1994 there was a change in finishcodes so 2 different types of small turbo esccos lambda's ... so make sure u have the build month of yours correct

 

yes just checked my box the finis is correct and as said there are 2 sorts for the small turbo!!!! give them your chassis no or reg no!!! they WILL give you the right one!!

same finis as me then they said the later type was for the 96 ones i'm sure

 

You can borrow mine to see if it cures your problem if you want, it's sat in a box in the garage at the moment.

 

you can buy my old one if you want i replaced mine thinking it was the problem and it was the airflow metre so have the old one here in the box up to you i dont want fords £143
