Default Breathers and 'quip...

Hi guys, just been having a look at various people 'bay pic's (no names dave, damo and macker...lol)
Now, i'm guessing that you bought all of your breathers with the quip threads already done...
From what i can tell they are all female screw threads on the actuals breathers themselves - Now what i want to know, is would it be worth having my breathers modded to have the jic threaded bits added, or would you just buy a new breather set up, and sell my one?
Also, what size hose do you guys use for the breathers - is it -10 or -12?

(oh, here is a pic of my current breather set-up... - really should get some pics of the car in the project section, but im lazy

Just get yours modded mate, then buy all the required fittings/hoses.. BUT it'll be big bucks

-10 on mine iirc and -8 I think..

Quick Q...

Have you got a 500 cooler??

Cheers Damo....
Did you get yours modded with male or female adapters, and who did it if you don't mind me asking? - was thinking pro alloy?

AS for cooler, no... not yet -
plan it to get the turbo cooler off of dave, then at the end of june, get an rs500 cooler, and alloy rad, and fit the lot together.

The car is currently running a GRS (i think) charge cooler upgrade kit

As far as I know the correct sizes are -12 for the connection under the inlet and -10 for the additionnal one under the exhaust..

Paulo - thanks
Damo, yep, your right, the cost adds up quite quickly- just worked it out, and it will cost about 250 quid to quip the breather - AFTER i get the exsisting tanks modded... not cheap! - but worth it methinks!
