Default GT28RS --> Escort cos

I was planning to change my laggy t34 turbo on my -94 cossy to a GT28RS. Does anyone has experience on this, how much better the driveability becomes and how much earlier it starts to boost. I'm aiming at as much as possible torq and maximum of 350hp probably 330hp would be nice. And I were wondering also which A/R should I get with the turbine of the disco potato .86 or .64 for the best possible spool up time and still get to the 330hp?

I just finished fitting a GT2871R turbo in my '95 Escort Cosworth. I've been a bit easy on it since we just finished doing a rebuild. The turbo seems to spool up faster than the T35 - it feels stronger in the 2500-3500 rpm region. The Gt2871R is good for 400 hp. Fitting wasn't a direct fit though but wasn't too bad. We had to modify the Mongoose downpipe with a V-Band clamp. Also fitted a ATP Bolt-On internal Ultimate wastegate and their oil return line adapter. We had to fabricate new coolant lines since the banjo fittings are a different size. Once I get the engine broken in we can retune it and I can give a better report on the turbo differences. hopefully I can get a dyno plot then.

Thanks for the comments, I'll probably go for the .64 A/R Potato since I got a quite good offer from it with all the needed adapters.
