Where is the Fan Switch ??
I think the fans are not coming on properly on the escos, i dont hear then and the header tank seems to bubble a bit (its a bailey jobbie).
Is it in the same place as the sapph's and you just replace it, job done ??
Cheers

the switch is mounted in the bottom of the radiator.... on theright hand side looking from the front...
here is mine replaced with a 2wd version that comes in at a lower temp...
this switch controlls the fans via the big green relay that is mouted next to the battery on the plastic surround....

the escos one has 4 wires as oppsoes to 2, these connect to 2 switches in the same connector , this allows the escos to have the high and low speed fans to come in at different times....
to convert,, just joint the two brown wires together and these go to one side of the swicth, and the brown with black stripe together,,, and yadda yada yada,
i had to solder some tails onto teh switch which i then filled with silicone to water proof it, i fitted some crimp ends on as seen above to connect the cars wirs to them

I am lookin into it on sunday, It looks like someone has bodged the wires on mine, so will need a quick rewire !.....
So i might try using a 2wd sapph one instead..

the temps seem to be a lot more stable, although i do find the fans running on for alot longer when sitting in traffic rather than coming on/off, not a problem, just an observation.
