Default How easy can the discs warp :(

All of a sudden I have a vibration through the brake pedal. Haven't been able to have a good look yet but overnight it seems like the discs have warped

Nothing feels loose and it still stops the car OK. Looks like the AP upgrade will come sooner rather than later

Paul.

Brakes don't warp over time they go just like that. It's to do with tremendous heat build up though normally.
A few times on previous cars I thought I had warped the discs, only to find it was TCA bushes or something else. Generally you dont get massive steering wheel judder with warped discs, more like a sort of on/off/on/off brake feeling! Does that make sense?
Escort Cossy's and 4x4 saffs suffer alot from warped discs so check them anyway.
P.S. You can get warped discs skimmed flat!

CheeRS fella, that exactly descibes the pedal feel. Must have been braking too hard . Time for the AP's and there goes the xmas fund
