Respray prep
If you were to get your car resprayed, what would you ask/confirm with the sprayer to get a first class job? I overheard someone talking about 'wet sanding' before? I want the best possible job and just wondered if there was a prefered process?
Thanks

You shouldnt have to ask them to do a good job, they should do it to the best of their abilities. I recomend asking around and getting pointed in the direction of someone who has a good reputation, even if it costs double it will pay for itself in the end.
And wet sanding is where you dip the wet and dry sandpaper in warm soppy water to soften the grit. Just to give that smoother finish.

NOt alot joe public can ask IMO sorry... even looking at some of their work wont tell the untrained eye anything
You could ask how much of the car they will "strip" for their price... edges and overspray are my own personal bugbear ..

Yeah thats what I am afraid of, overspray etc. something which stands out. Ill ask around, just want someone to take their time and do a perfect job. Even if you tell them to take their time and pay more money there is no guarantee they will. Most place are money grabbers these days
